Most tools never upload your files
Wherever a tool can run in your browser, it does. Compressing an image, merging PDFs, generating a QR code — that work happens on your own device using your browser, and the file is never sent to us. There is nothing to leak because nothing leaves your computer.
The few server-side tools delete immediately
A small number of tools (high-fidelity Office conversions and heavy video) genuinely need a server. When you use one, your file is sent over a secure connection, processed, returned to you, and deleted right away. We do not keep your files, and we never use them for anything else.
No account, no tracking of who you are
There is no sign-up and no login, so we do not have an account, an email, or a profile tied to you. Your theme choice and similar preferences are stored only in your own browser.
Analytics and ads (later, and disclosed)
ToolWave is free, so it will eventually show tasteful, non-intrusive ads — never pop-ups or interstitials, and never inside a tool while it is working. If we add privacy-respecting analytics, we will say so here plainly. Until then, this page reflects exactly how things work today.
