Does it convert both directions?

Yes — JSON (an array of objects) → CSV, and CSV → JSON. Toggle the direction and the previous output becomes the new input, so converting back and forth is one click.

Can I upload a file instead of pasting?

Yes. In either direction you can paste your data or click “Upload” to load a file — a .json file for JSON → CSV, or a .csv file for CSV → JSON (plain .txt works too). The file is read in your browser and converted exactly like pasted text.

How is nested JSON handled?

Nested objects and arrays are flattened into dot-notation columns (for example address.city or tags.0), and we show a clear notice when that happens, so the CSV stays a flat, spreadsheet-friendly table.

Does it handle tricky CSV like commas inside quotes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use a robust CSV parser that correctly handles quoted fields, commas and line breaks inside values, BOMs and other edge cases — and numbers and true/false are converted to real JSON types.

What happens with invalid input?

You get a calm, specific message — for invalid JSON we point to the line and column, and for malformed CSV we explain the problem — instead of a crash or silent failure.
